The new study suggests that pollution from vehicle exhaust and other sources may account for some forms. Researchers studied some Texas residents and found an association between the release of Zinc, Chromium, copper and various types of lung cancer.
Experts stress that this is not a direct link and more studies need to be done to find out more.
