Heavy rain ending Monday morning

MIAMI VALLEY —

There is an end to the heavy rain in sight, according to Storm Center 7 Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs.

She said the rain will taper off Monday morning with diminishing winds.

“There could be a few scattered showers through the day, she said, “but nothing significant.”

Vrydaghs said some cooler air funneling in may spark some afternoon/evening scattered showers changing to light sleet or snow.

Thursday through Friday, said Vrydaghs, will be dry. She said “temperatures will warm a bit every day from the mid-30s on Tuesday into the mid-to-upper 40s Friday.”
