Kettering police arrest 1 in meth lab bust

KETTERING —

One man was arrested and police seized methamphetamine, equipment to make the drug Monday morning when the Kettering Regional SWAT Team served a search warrant.

William J. Neal, 35, of the 1700 block of Norton Avenue, was arrested on suspicion of illegal manufacture of meth, drug possession and possession of criminal tools, Kettering police said Monday afternoon.

Police said the investigation was prompted by complaints the department received about suspicious activity in the area.

Neal is in the city jail pending the formal filing of charges are being considered by the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office.
