Light fog to give way to sunny, cold weather today

MIAMI VALLEY —

A light western breeze has kicked in at times overnight, limiting the formation of widespread fog, said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Rich Wirdzek.

“Fog has been a sporadic issue in low lying areas this morning, mainly in Dayton and south,” he said. “I don’t anticipate any school delays as a result.”

The area is back to normal temperatures for this time of the year. Despite sunny skies, temperatures will only warm up to the low to mid-40s, Wirdzek said.

Tonight will be even colder with lows in the mid-20s.
