1 injured in crash that shuts down railroad

One of the four vehicles involved in a crash on South Central Avenue Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, is being hauled away.

FAIRBORN —

One person was injured in a four-vehicle crash Friday night at the intersection of South Central and Kauffman avenues.

The crash occurred at approximately 10:15 a.m. and the CSX railroad that intersects there was shut down temporarily, according to Fairborn police.

Some of the vehicles sustained heavy damage.

Police said one person was taken to the SOIN Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, but police said one driver was at fault and that person will be cited.
