XENIA —

A man and woman have been arrested in a serial home burglary investigation that involves incidents that have occurred in a three-county area since spring.

Amber Gall, 27, and Benjamin Patton, 30, were booked into the Greene County Jail on multiple counts of burglary, engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and conspiracy to engage in a pattern of corrupt activity, the sheriff’s office told News Center 7.

Bond has been set at $500,000, according to the sheriff’s office.

Officials with the sheriff’s office tell News Center 7 that Gall and Patton were stopped Friday morning just outside Xenia and found to be in possession of items believed to have been taken in a recent theft. They were interrogated and that led to the decision to have them detained in jail on the charges, according to the sheriff’s office.

Gall’s and Patton’s relationship has not been made clear by the sheriff’s office.
