2 crashes on NB I-675 cause slow downs

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio —

Within the span of 90 minutes, there were two crashes with injuries in the northbound lanes of Interstate 675 near the Indian Ripple Road exit area.

After confirming the details with the Beavercreek Fire Department, WHIO-TV was informed that there was a motorcycle crash at approximately 5:40 p.m. on the ramp from NB I-675 to the Indian Ripple Road exit. There was a report of two that claimed injuries with this crash.

Then just after 6 p.m. , a second crash occurred on the NB I-675 lanes near the Indian Ripple Road exit. WHIO-TV was informed that this crash involved four vehicles with injuries.

The center and left high-speed lanes were blocked while emergency crews had to maneuver around the involved vehicles to attend to the victims.

As of 6:50 p.m., WHIO-TV confirmed that there is a mile and a half backup from the crash site.

Both crashes are still under investigation.
