Investigation continues, 2 dead in Mercer Co.

ST. HENRY, Ohio —

Two victims of a deadly crash early Saturday in Mercer County have been indentified.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of State Route 119 and Fleetfoot Road after a 2006 Pontiac GTO went off the road, hit two trees and caught fire, the Mercer County Sheriff's Office said.

Passengers Craig A. Gengler, 22, of Celina and Vincent A. Gragorace, 21, of Greenville were pronounced dead at the scene.  The car's driver, Ryan J. Billenstein, 27, of Coldwater and front seat passenger Bethany Marie Wentworth,21 of Greenville were taken to Mercer Health in Coldwater.

The fire destroyed the car, and investigators are not sure if anyone in the car was wearing seatbelts.

The crash remains under investigation.
