A second victim in a crash about two weeks ago on Ohio 503 and Lexington Road has died, the Preble County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.

Anne Koeller, 60, of Eaton, died Thursday at Miami Valley Hospital, Sheriff Michael Simpson’s office said.

She was a passenger in the vehicle driven by Douglas Roof, 65, who was killed at the scene of the crash north of West Alexandria.

Roof was driving a 2007 Maroon Ford Taurus with his passenger, Koeller, when he either stopped at a posted sign and then pulled into an intersection or failed to stop, according to the sheriff’s office.

Roof pulled into the path of 24-year-old Desma Evans as she was driving a 2003 Dodge sport utility vehicle. Evans was treated at a hospital the day of the accident.
