Three men are in the Greene County Jail and a juvenile is in detention on charges accusing them in a shooting, burglary and assault that occurred at an apartment in the 300 block of East Emerson Avenue over two days.

Andrew Rodriquez, 19, of Fairborn, is charged with attempted burglary and two counts of intimidating a crime witness in the shooting that left the victim grazed by a bullet early Wednesday, Fairborn police said.

A16-year-old male from Huber Heights, said to have been involved in that incident, is detained on charges of attempted aggravated burglary, discharging a firearm into a habitation, intimidation of a crime victim and felonious assault, police said.

Police were dispatched to the East Emerson Avenue address at about 2:45 a.m. after neighbors reported hearing five to 10 gun shots. A police investigation revealed that several shots traveled through a bedroom window of an apartment there and into a back door.

One man in the apartment was grazed by a bullet, police said. He was treated at the scene. A woman in the apartment was not injured.

While investigating the shooting, police said they discovered that the same residents at that same address were the victims of an assault on Monday.

Arrested Monday in that incident were Terrance Bass, 20, of Fairborn, and Quinston Joplin, 25, of Englewood. Both are charged with aggravated burglary.

Bond for Rodriquez is set at $250,000. Bond for Bass and Joplin is set at $50,000 each. The juvenile is the Greene County Juvenile Detention Center.
