Car hits Tipp City bus on I-75 in Miami Co.

A bus carrying 31 young people and five adults back to Tipp City after a boys basketball game at Oakwood on Tuesday night was involved in an crash on Interstate 75 north, police said.

Police said a car hit the side of the bus near the Keowee Street exit at about 10 p.m. after the car swerved to miss hitting a broken down semi-trailer on the right shoulder of the interstate.

No one was injured, police said. Another bus was called to take the bus passengers back to Tippecanoe High School.
