Man, woman tell police they were carjacked

A man and woman told police they were robbed at gunpoint by two men who took their 2000 Honda Civic the woman was driving as well as their cell phones.

Police were sent to Danner Avenue and Stewart Street at about 11 p.m. Monday on a robbery complaint.

The woman, 47, told police that she and her companion, a 63-year-old man, had gone to a residence in the 1000 block of Danner to meet with someone regarding a financial matter, according to a police incident report filed Tuesday.

The woman told police they had been waiting for almost an hour when two men, one of whom had a silver revolver, approached their car and ordered them to get out.

The suspects drove south on Danner, then west on Stewart.
