DAYTON, Ohio —

Patrick Rieder, who was indicted Friday on four counts of rape of a child younger than 13, has been indicted again by a Montgomery County grand jury for a robbery that allegedly took place in November of last year.

Rieder is accused of robbing a woman at knife-point in the parking lot of the Rite Aid at 2916 Linden Ave. The robbery was recorded Nov. 9.

The victim recognized Rieder on television once news outlets began reporting the accusations of child rape against him, according to Greg Flanagan, a spokesman for the Montgomery County Prosecutor's office.

"Apparently at the time this happened there were no suspects," Flanagan said.

On Monday, he was indicted on one count of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, one count of aggravated robbery causing serious harm, one count of felonious assault with a deadly weapon and one count of felonious assault causing serious harm.

Prosecutor Jennifer Denslow was assigned to the case and Rieder's next court appearance will be an arraignment on May 10.

Rieder, 31, has been held in the Montgomery County jail on a $1 million bond since he was arrested on the suspicion of child rape. Rieder was one of three men arrested in February as the result of an undercover investigation on Craigslist by the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

The investigation began in January.
