Crash brings utility pole down

SPRINGFIELD —

Power was fortunately uninterrupted after an unidentified women driving a Buick hit a utility pole at 1112 Villa Road in Moorefield Township, knocking the pole down.

Springfield police spoke with News Center 7 confirming the incident. There was an officer still on the scene approximately two hours after the 11:07 a.m incident. Police said that there was no report of any injuries, but the pole did come down across the vehicle, which has heavy front-end damage.

The crash is currently under investigation.
