Troy business evacuated after machine fire

TROY, Ohio —

A business in Troy was evacuated late Tuesday morning after a fire broke out in a machine.

Firefighters responded and extinguished the flames at Arc Abrasives, 85 Marybill Drive shortly after 10 a.m.

The building sustained smoke damage. Damage to the machinery is estimated at $3,000, according to Troy Assistant Fire Chief  Matthew Simmons.

There were no injuries reported.
