DAYTON —
A Dayton man was ticketed for public intoxication outside of Club Vex early Monday morning and ended up being booked into jail pending a disorderly conduct charge when he returned to the bar minutes after being released by police.
Killian Thomas, 23, was thrown out of the club, 111 S. St. Clair St., by security officers. When Dayton Police arrived at about 1:45 a.m. they observed an intoxicated Thomas cursing loudly, according to a police incident report.
According to the report he told people in the crowd “Film this!” as he was taken to a police cruiser and then shouted racial slurs at officers and called them racists.
Police initially wrote him a ticket for public intoxication, which he refused to sign, and then released him into the custody of his girlfriend who said she would take him home, the report states.
But when officers came around the block, Thomas was back in front of the club arguing with security.
He was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Thomas has a prior misdemeanor conviction for public intoxication according to court records.
