DAYTON —

Bounce the Boxer, who was rescued Feb. 2 after being thrown from a moving pickup truck, will be getting a new home soon.

The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center, where Bounce was treated for minor head trauma and road rash, announced Tuesday that she has been adopted.

Details about the family who adopted the dog were not immediately available. According to ARC, Bounce will get to meet them Wednesday morning.

Miamisburg police are still investigating why the dog was thrown from the truck on South Union Road.
