DAYTON, Ohio —

Two people were injured Monday night when the driver smashed up the station wagon they were in after trying to make an exit off Interstate 75.

The driver, whose name was not given by Dayton police, hit the ramp barrier on I-75 south after apparently slowing to make the exit to Ohio 48 and Grand Avenue, police said.

The vehicle hit the upper barrier and bounced off the barrier walls on the exit ramp, police said.
