XENIA, Ohio —

A former senior airman at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base was sentenced today to 20 years in prison.

Damerick Tullis, 21, was convicted in July of one count of forcible rape, one count of attempted rape, two counts of burglary, two counts of voyeurism and two counts of kidnapping. Investigators painted Tullis as a serial offender, claiming he raped a 23-year-old woman inside his home while his wife was pregnant with their second child.

The Greene County Prosecutor’s Office said Tullis attempted to rape one other victim.

Tullis will have to register as a tier three sex offender. His attorneys said they plan to file an appeal.
