FAIRBORN, Ohio —
A state agency has cited a convenience store in Fairborn for violating its liquor permit as part of a raid today that involved federal officials.
The Ohio Investigative Unit issued administrative citations to the liquor permit owner at the Main Express, 201 East Main St., for allegedly trafficking in food stamps, receiving stolen property and illegal drug paraphernalia sales, according to Julie Hinds, spokeswoman for the Ohio Investigative Unit.
Authorities said they carried numerous boxes out of the business, but would not indicate what was in them. No one was arrested and the store was closed to customers.
Fairborn police assisted federal agents with the United States Department of Agriculture during the investigation.
