XENIA —

The Greene County Combined Health District is offering a walk-in flu clinic for children only on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at the district’s main offices.

No appointments are necessary for this clinic, which will be offered 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 360 Wilson Drive.

Those older than 18 should consult their family physician or inquire at a local pharmacy.

The 2012-13 seasonal flu vaccine is recommended for persons 6 months of age and older. The cost for each flu shot is $15 for children.

Regular childhood immunizations will also be given during this clinic, according to the district.

Cash and checks will be accepted. Medicaid, CareSource, Molina and AmeriGroup will be accepted, but ID cards must be shown.

Everyone else will need to pay by cash or check and send a receipt to their insurance company for reimbursement.
