Group offers gas at $1.87 per gallon today

By Staff Staff

CAMDEN —

Drivers in Camden willing to wait in line for a bit are invited to fill up their gas tanks at a lower price today.

The Camden Crossing BP station at 201 W. Central Ave. will have fuel for $1.87 per gallon beginning at 11 a.m. The first 150 vehicles will get to take advantage of the price.

The New American Energy Opportunity Foundation is conducting the event and did so Wednesday in Mason and Cleves, Ohio. The group is doing so to highlight President Barack Obama’s energy policies and how they affect the price of gasoline, according to a group spokesman.
