Staff Report

SIDNEY, Ohio —

Local authorities said they are looking for a vehicle from a Tennessee AMBER Alert that may be traveling in the Miami Valley or surrounding area.

Suspects Jeremy Knasel and Ashley Norberg were last seen driving a blue Chevrolet Astro Van bearing Tennessee license plates 065VKS.

Authorities said they knocked down a report that the couple may have changed to a vehicle that was spotted Wednesday morning near the Miami-Shelby County line.

The East Tennessee AMBER Alert was issued early Wednesday for two children -- 3-year-old Summer Knasel, who is 3 feet tall, 32 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes, and last seen wearing a Dora nightgown and 4-year-old Lovell Knasel, who is 3 feet 4 inches, 30 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes, last seen wearing a princess nightgown.

The children were allegedly abducted by their noncustodial parents, 24, who are believed to be armed with a handgun, according to reports.

They were first believed to be driving a 1993 black Nissan Maxima, Tennessee license plate 065 VKS or no plate at all. According to authorities, one of the suspects has ties to Sidney.

If you have information as to the whereabouts of the children, please call the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
