LOS ANGELES, Calif. —
A local man seen dancing last week on “The Ellen Degeneres Show” will be back on the show today to share his weight loss story.
Thom Ingle, of Pleasant Hill, was filmed energetically dancing, and host Ellen Degeneres spoke to him on air. He told her he had been attempting to get tickets to the show for two years and he was excited to finally be there.
Degeneres invited Ingle back for another taping, and that show will air at 4 p.m. today.
Ingle was at the show with his wife Robin, who called WHIO-TV last week to tell the staff how much fun the pair was having in Los Angeles, Calif.
“I’m so excited I can hardly talk about it,” Robin Ingle said. “They’re paying for our hotel and other expenses for the weekend,” she said last week.
In the interview airing today, Thom Ingle tells Degeneres his dancing comes from taking Zumba dance classes while getting fit following two strokes. He lost 70 pounds in the process.
In her usual style, Ellen surprises Thom Ingle with gifts.
Tune in to Channel 7 at 4 p.m. today to see “The Ellen Degeneres Show.”
