Man accused of burglary, ramming police cruiser

MIAMISBURG, Ohio —

Police tracked down a man who allegedly was caught breaking into a Miamisburg home then struck a police cruiser before getting away.

Robert H. Hartsock II, 34, faces charges of burglary, receiving stolen property, vandalism and resisting arrest. Miamisburg police arrested the suspect after finding him staying at Inn Town Suites on Kingsridge Drive.

He is suspected in a break in on Wileray Drive. Police said an officer caught the suspect in the act, but the suspect rammed another officer's vehicle before getting away.

Hartsock is being held in the Montgomery County Jail.
