A Brookville man was sentenced to 160 days in jail Friday after pleading guilty to having child porn.

Christopher Witherspoon, 39,was convicted on 10 counts of pandering obscenity involving minors and 5 counts of illegal use of a minor in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.

Witherspoon will serve his sentence on holidays and weekends beginning September 7. As part of his plea, Witherspoon is forbidden from having equipment that can access the internet, cannot view any type of pornography, cannot use alcohol or drugs, cannot communicate with minors including his stepdaughters, use social media or work for a company where he would come in contact with minors.

Witherspoon will also register as a tier 2 offender and enter a treatment program for sex offenders.
