DAYTON —

A 23-year-old Dayton man wanted in a drug case told police he saw himself on whiotv.com and decided to turned himself in Thursday afternoon.

Jeffery Guy Jr., of Geneva Road, was wanted by Franklin police and now is in the Warren County Jail on felony charges of drug trafficking as well as fleeing and eluding police.

His bond is set at $57,500, Franklin police said, and Guy is to be in Franklin Municipal Court on Friday for his initial appearance on the charges.

Guy mentioned seeing himself on the website during his interview with police regarding the case against him, which accuses him of trafficking in heroin.

An investigation into complaints of illegal drug activity concluded that Guy sold heroin in the area of the Franklin Commons Apartment Complex and then fled in his vehicle when officers approached, according to police.

Police said Guy reportedly bailed out of his car and fled on foot while still in the complex. Two passengers also fled on foot. One of them, a male, was apprehended and released without being charged, police said.

Franklin police Chief Russ Whitman said a records check indicates that Guy was released from the Noble Correctional Institute in November 2011 after serving four years for involuntary manslaughter.

Whitman said Guy also was involved in a drug case in December, but he was not charged.

Anyone with information on Guy's unknown second passenger is asked to contact their local police department of Franklin police at (937) 746-2882.
