A 69-year-old Ohio man has been found dead in a crash, days after he was reported missing.

The State Highway Patrol said James Fugate was found Sunday in western Ohio's Clark County, where he'd apparently driven off the left side of a road. Troopers say in a news release that the truck went through a plowed field and into some brush and trees.

Trooper Matthew Ortiz told our partners at the Dayton Daily News that investigators still working the case aren't sure if the crash occurred Sunday or Saturday.

Fugate had been reported missing by authorities in neighboring Greene County, where he lived in the community of Fairborn. The sheriff's office said he was last seen Thursday and that he had health issues and had left home without his cane.
