Warmest Thanksgiving in 31 years on tap

MIAMI VALLEY —

The expected high of 62 on Thursday will make it the warmest Thanksgiving Day since 1981 when the temperature hit 64, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Jamie Simpson said Wednesday night.

Expect morning temperatures in the high 30s after some patchy fog overnight on the heels of a mild Wednesday in the Miami Valley.

Thanksgiving Day morning should be greeted by sun. Light showers after midnight should be over by Friday morning.

Friday will start and hold in the 40s through the morning, then fall to or below 40 by sunset.

Saturday morning, clouds will yield to some sun by midday, with some breeze but dry with temperatures in the high 30s.

Sun on Sunday should have afternoon highs in the lower 40s.

Look for clouds Monday and rain by day’s end that will continue into Tuesday morning.

Expect colder air and a chance of a little light snow later Tuesday.
