Waynesville Fire

WAYNESVILLE —

A home in Waynesville caught fire Saturday afternoon and numerous municipalities were requested to help put it out.

Clearcreek, Massie, Washington and Turlecreek townships were called in to help put out a house fire at North Main and Church streets. Warren County dispatch stated smoke was showing from a home at 312 N. Main St. Saturday around 12 p.m.

The fire started in a first floor electrical panel and spread to the second floor, according to fire officials. It was contained to the interior and three rooms were involved.

Four people were home at the time of the fire, but were able to evacuate the house without issue. There were no injuries reported.

It is possible that more than one family was living in the dwelling. The Red Cross has been notified to assist.
