DAYTON, Ohio —

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will campaign in Dayton Tuesday, in their first joint public rally anywhere in the country this year.

The campaign stop will take place one day after the final debate in Florida between the president and Republican challenger Mitt Romney.

The event will be at Triangle Park, located at 2500 Ridge Avenue in Dayton, just south of the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery. People wishing to attend are required to have a ticket.

The crowd can start arriving at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Parking and other details have not been released.

The speech will air live on WHIO-TV Channel 7. The exact time of the event has not been announced.

The visit is part of both campaigns’ effort to win Ohio’s 18 electoral votes, which could decide the outcome of next month’s election.

Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and Biden have visited Ohio 32 times since June. Romney, his wife Ann and vice-presidential nominee Paul Ryan have visited Ohio even more often – campaigning in the state 34 times. Ryan has an event today in Belmont near the Ohio-West Virginia border.

Some of the campaign stops include Romney’s recent events in Lebanon and Sidney and Michelle Obama’s event at Dayton’s Convention Center a few months ago.
