Driver injured after crash on Five Oaks

Emergency crews are working to get a person out of a vehicle that has crashed and landed on its side on Five Oaks Avenue.

DAYTON —

One person was injured and taken to the hospital after a crash on Five Oaks Avenue.

A sport utility vehicle traveling east on Five Oaks hit the curb and landed on its side at the interesction of Geyer Street, according to reports. The driver was trapped inside the SUV before crews were able to extract him. The crash was reported around 9:15 a.m.

The driver was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, although the extent of his injuries is unknown.
