The woman was taken to a hospital. Her injuries were not considered life threatening, Trotwood police said.

Police said the truck likely would have continued off the road and into a house had it not hit the tree.

The accident was reported at about 9:30 p.m. along the 700 block of East Westbrook Road, in the area of Cheri Lynn and Romaine drives, near Westbook Road Park.
