Pizza delivery driver robbed of cash, pie

DAYTON —

A driver for Cousin Vinny’s Pizza told police that two men robbed him at gunpoint early Tuesday while he was making a delivery on South Kilmer Avenue.

According to a Dayton police incident report, when the driver arrived at about 2:45 a.m. He called the number on the order and a man said he’d be right out to get his pizza. Two men then walked up to the car and one displayed a handgun.

The armed suspect said, “Give me those pizzas,” according to the report.

The driver handed over a large pizza, two soft drinks and $24 in cash, but refused to give the suspects his cell phone.
