Police find driver involved in hit-and-run

DAYTON, Ohio —

Dayton police said they have found the driver of a white Buick Regal who is accused of taking off after allegedly hitting and killing a man on a sidewalk.

The fatal strike occured Jan. 18 at Fairbanks and Brooklyn avenues. Keith Jordan, 55, was walking in front of his home when the Buick collided with a truck, ran off the road and struck him. Family said Jordan resided at 704 Brooklyn Ave. and at the time of the incident he was returning home from dialysis.

Police have not named the suspect pending charges.
