Police: Kids threatened by Taco Bell panhandler

By News Staff

DAYTON —

Four kids reported giving cash to a man after he intimdated them in the parking lot of an area Taco Bell restaurant.

The kids were visiting a family member across the street at Miami Valley Hospital on Monday. They reported the man, a panhandler, was threatening to them while they were headed to the restaurant, so they gave him their money.

They returned to the hospital and told their dad, who went to Taco Bell, found the panhandler and demanded he give the kids back their money.

Police were called to the scene and forced the panhandler to leave the parking lot.

Officials did not say if he would be charged with anything.
