DAYTON —
A suspect who led police on a high speed chase through three counties ran from his vehicle after the chase ended on U.S. 35.
The suspect led police from Interstate 75 northbound, to I-675 to U.S. 35, according to reports. The driver drove over two sets of Stop Sticks before the chase ended on U.S. 35 near Smithville Road.
Both the driver and passenger reportedly got out of the vehicle and ran. The passenger was apprehended and is being taken to Miami Valley Hospital. Police are still looking for the driver, who is reportedly armed.
