GREENE COUNTY, Ohio —
A woman and her unborn baby are expected to be OK, after a rollover crash on Selma-Jamestown Road Thursday morning.
The crash happened near the intersection of Selma-Jamestown and Gravel Pit Road between 2 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. A husband and his pregnant wife were traveling on Selma-Jamestown when they crossed the roadway and crashed into a ditch. The impact sent the car rolling several times before coming to a rest on its top.
It took troopers about a half-hour to locate the crash, due to conflicting reports of the location.
The driver, Jason Tucker, 32, was allegedly drunk at the time of the incident. He was uncooperative with troopers at the scene and arrested. Tucker faces felony OVI charges and driving under suspension charges. He is being held in the Greene County Jail.
The woman was taken to Springfield Regional Hospital as a precautionary measure. She suffered minor cuts and upon initial check the baby is expected to be alright, troopers said.
