DAYTON —

A 34-year-old woman was arrested Monday evening for allegedly running a prostitution operation out of her Leo Street home.

Crystal Fannon is facing possible charges of soliciting and possession of criminal tools after an undercover officer responded to an ad she placed on Backpage.com.

According to a Dayton Police incident report, an officer conducting surveillance on the classified website answered an escort ad offering “Thanksgiving and Black Friday Specials!”

Pictures on the ad were of Fannon posing inside Katie’s Place Bar, 2264 E. Fifth St., where she works, according to the report.

Fannon was known to police to live on Leo Street and they determined that she was prostituting out of her house when she invited the undercover officer to come to 518 Leo St.

Officers recorded the conversation between the undercover officer and Fannon in which she agreed to “full service,” meaning sex, in exchange for $160. The officer reported that after he gave the takedown signal, but before uniformed police officers arrived, Fannon took her clothes off and exposed herself to him.

When she was arrested and interviewed Fannon insisted that she only gives massages for $75 but said she is not a licensed massage therapist and doesn’t have a massage table, according to the report.
