DAYTON —
A vehicle, which Sheriff’s deputies had attempted to pull over earlier in the morning for loud music, smashed through a structure on Prescott Avenue around 4:30 a.m., according to police.
Police are looking for the suspect or suspects, which are believed to have jumped out of the vehicle and fled the scene on foot, police said.
Officers responded to the 3900 block of Prescott and once crews arrived they discovered one vehicle had crashed into another vehicle and damaged a car port.
The vehicle was driving westbound on Prescott when it crossed into a yard, crashed through a fence, and hit the other vehicle parked under a car port, police said. The two vehicles then collided with a support pole of the car port, which knocked the car port down.
The case remains under investigation.
