3 hurt in Texas college gunfire

CONRAD, Texas —

A spokesman for a Texas college campus said three people were shot in gunfire there today, and one of those injured is a shooting suspect.

Reports indicate the shooting was between two people, and a third got caught in the crossfire.

The incident occured this afternoon at Lone Star College-North Harris campus, which is near Houston.

The campus website had an alert that states, “LSC-North Harris campus evacuation is in progress. A couple of armed suspects reported.; injuries reported. Incident limited to LSC-North Harris.”

The Associated Press reported aerial footage from local television stations showed police cars and ambulances parked on the campus.

The Lone Star College System has an enrollment of 90,000 students and six college campuses.
