FRANKLIN TWP., Warren County —

A 12-year-old child who ran away from home Tuesday night was located by family Wednesday morning and is safe, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

The child, identified by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office as 12-year-old Wade Bishop, ran away from the area of Hunter Elementary on Ohio 122 and is thought to be in the area, sheriff’s Sgt. Todd Snelling told News Center 7.

Wade was reportedly picked up by a family member at the school on Wednesday. He was last seen at about 4 p.m. wearing a camouflage hooded-type sweatshirt and a pair of camouflage pants, Snelling said.

Several sheriff’s deputies and fire crews were out in force searching the neighborhood at 10:30 p.m. The search was stopped at about 11:30 p.m.
