Sex assault reported in Wittenberg dorm

SPRINGFIELD —

A teenage student at Wittenberg University told police she was sexually assaulted this weekend.

Police said the 18-year-old reported she left a party with two men who spoke to her about having a “threesome” sexual encounter in a residence hall.

She told police when she denied their request, the two began to undress her.

The victim said there was no intercourse, but that other sexual activity occurred against her will. She was able to leave by going to the restroom and being helped to exit by another student.

Police have named two suspects. It is unclear if anyone has been arrested.
