HARRISON TWP., Montgomery County —

Montgomery County Sheriff's Deputies are looking for a suspect in a shooting that has left one man in the hospital.

The shooting happened around 2 a.m. Tuesday at the Chateau Diner & Sports Club at Wagner Ford Road and Webster Street.

Deputies are investigating what led to a disagreement between the victim and another man, who are believed to be acquaintances. The suspect fired several shots and hit the victim in the lower extremities, officials said. A friend of the victim drove him to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was then taken to Miami Valley Hospital by a mobile intensive care unit. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The suspect is described as a heavy set black male around 30 years old. After the incident, he ran through a cemetery.

The investigation is ongoing.
