Break-in attempted at Spaghetti Warehouse

The management of Dayton’s Spaghetti Warehouse believes an audible alarm scared away an attempted burglar before that person could steal anything inside the restaurant.

Police responded to the restaurant, located at 36 W. Fifth St., around 5 a.m. Monday after the alarm was sounded. Officers searched the building and could not find anyone inside.

Restaurant manager Kelly Byrd confirmed nothing was taken. The restaurant’s alarm sounds through the entire building and Byrd believes that sound scared the suspect, who fled the scene.
