Three dogs dead in structure fire

Three dogs have died in an early Saturday morning fire in the 8300 block of Keister Road. Firefighters from Madison Township, Franklin Township, and Germantown responded to the blaze.

The residents were not home when the fire broke out. Damage is set between $40 and $50,000.  Arson investigators have been called in to help determine the cause. 

A passer-by noticed the flames and called the fire department. Firefighters say the blaze in the master bedroom was doused quickly.
