Vehicle wanted after hitting fire hydrant

DAYTON, Ohio —

Repair crews were called to 405 Burleigh Ave. to fix a broken fire hydrant Sunday evening. It was struck by a vehicle driven by an unidentified female, deputies said.

News Center 7 was informed by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office the driver did not wait and fled the scene in her vehicle. There was no description of the vehicle, but the Sheriffs’s Office did get the license plate as Ohio plate: DL78EF.
