The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory that will be in effect for the counties of Auglaize, Mercer, Logan, Shelby, Darke, Miami, Champaign and Clark counties from 8 a.m. Monday until 7 p.m. Monday.

SOUTHWEST OHIO —

The National Weather Service has canceled the wind advisory that was in effect for much of the region today.

Wind speeds have dropped, the agency anounced at 5:46 p.m., enough to discontinue the advisory. Wind gusts will reportedly continue to slowly decrease across the region through the evening hours.

Counties once affected by the advisory included Auglaize, Mercer, Logan, Shelby, Darke, Miami, Champaign and Clark.

On Tuesday, highs will be in the low 40s. Clouds will be thicker Wednesday and light snow may graze Warren and Clinton counties.

No accumulation is expected, said Meteorologist Jamie Simpson.

On Wednesday, highs will be near 40 degrees. A cold front moves in Thursday with snow showers possible that night.

Temperatures will drop into the weekend as a cold front passes through on Friday, Simpson said.

A dusting of snow is possible Saturday.
