DAYTON —
A woman was arrested Thursday night after a man accused her of intentionally running her over with a car on the 400 block of Ryburn Avenue in Dayton.
Delores Ann Burnett, 57, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of felony felonious assault. Police documented in an incident report — obtained Friday afternoon by News Center 7 — they encountered an “intoxicated” man screaming in the middle of the street when they arrived at the location of the alleged incident. He immediately accused Burnett of hitting him with a car after an argument.
He said he couldn’t get out of the way, and Burnett had to drive onto a sidewalk in order to hit him.
The man was taken to the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. Police will continue to investigate.
