A woman was arrested on heroin-related charges at Good Samaritan Hospital Sunday evening.

Staci Lynn Barlowe, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments, according to a Dayton police report. She is scheduled for a court appearance this afternoon.

According to the officers’ report, they met with hospital security around 8:30 p.m. Security had taken Barlowe into custody after she was allegedly found with syringe needles and a spoon that had been used to cook heroin.

Security said they found her sitting in the back seat of a vehicle in the emergency room parking lot.

When questioned by officers, she admitted to shooting up on hospital premises, according to the police report.
